Protect Your Skin From The Sun
You may think that suntans look good or that they make you look more healthy, but the truth is that suntans accelerate the effects of aging and increase your risk of skin cancer.
It is the effects of exposure to the sun that cause most of what people think of as the signs of aging such as sagging wrinkled skin. But even more important than looking older than you should is the fact that exposure to the sun (and tanning beds) greatly increases your chances of developing skin cancer which is one of the most prevalent forms of cancer in the world.
This is why it’s so important to protect your skin from the sun. And you should protect your skin all year, not just in the summer months! The harmful UV light is present in the winter as well as the summer.
You should always use sunscreen when you are going to be outdoors. Use an SPF of at least 30. The sunscreen you choose should say that it is water resistant. You should reapply the sunscreen every two hours.
Walking around with an oxygen tank and mask would save my lungs from polluted city air.. That doesn’t mean anybody is going to do it. Just as your apply-sunscreen-every-2-hours technique, nobody is going to do it because it’s simply too inconvenient (money, waste of time)

Somebody – I can see what you are saying – but this technique (sunscreen every 2 hours) is only for when you will be outdoors with direct sunlight. If you are someone who is outdoors a lot I can see how that would be difficult. For others it wouldn’t be that big of a deal.
